Happy Memorial Day Weekend to all those American families with loved ones and ancestors to visit in their graves.
From those who perished from both sides of the Civil War to those from more recent events and all the conflicts in between.
My American wife is proud of her American heritage and of those in her family who gave all. They will be visiting past members, some of whom fought in the Civil War.
This important holiday isn’t just about time off, barbeques, or cheap shopping deals. It’s about remembering, tidying up unkept graves, and showing younger family members their ancestors and reminding them of why these individuals gave their lives so young.
Enjoy, and have a safe and responsible Memorial Day Weekend.
