Israel v Iran Today…What It Means For The Rest Of Us:

No, sadly I’m not blogging about a sporting event…that would be way too nice.

This post is about the very obvious, latest, and arguably the most dangerous aggression between the two powers to date.

Not just for the Region but for the world.

At present, everything presented by “experts” through the media looks at the situation in the short term. Is the targeting about taking out the nuclear facilities, or is it more, perhaps taking out the present Regime?

To me, all of this is irrelevant for we who are not living in the Region, or involved.

Israel v Iran will be cheered on and helped by proxies…as every conflict is.

However, for the ordinary civilian living in the rest of the world, and especially those who are fingered as a Nation helping Israel, targeting in every shape and fashion will be long-term.

From us elders looking to go on an ocean cruise…to business people flying around the world to attend corporate meetings…to students travelling on their gap year or summer programme…or simply families flying to catch up with loved ones…we are all easy targets from now on.

Easy targets for hijackers, easy targets for suicide bombers, easy targets for a longer-term operation to attack a venue of thousands.

Easy targets for a shooting, a knifing, acid throwing, or vehicle ramming of pedestrians.

I could go on and on and on, however, everyone needs to go through their movements with a fine-tooth comb from now on.

No one is expected to live a monastic lifestyle, however, reading up on how to limit danger by limiting movements is key.

As is schooling up on how to read and react to differing situations that have occurred in the past 20 years or so, of attacks on the public in various scenarios.

I’ve always had in recent times, Israel’s behaviour militarily as the number one danger to the rest of us…not the Ukraine conflict, as I mentioned a few weeks ago on a podcast that I was invited on to.

We in the West are being endangered by those running our foreign policies. They are dangerously out of touch with the long-term fallout from an aggressive military presence in the Greater Middle East.

The damage is done now, it’s irrelevant what happens in the coming days or weeks…or months or even years.

How long in people’s minds did you all think that the Ukraine/Russian conflict would go on for? And how long did you all think that the Israel/Gaza conflict would go on for?

From this day on, get your shit together and take your own personal security as seriously as you ever have in your life.

Think about the different scenarios of travelling…think about what you can do in those situations, and what you can carry with you at all times to help yourself escape and survive.

Dual passport holders (something I’ve never agreed with), think about what you would do with your most compromising passport if caught in a hijacking or hostage crisis…or those with one passport…does it compromise you?

This post is blasted out today to get people thinking, especially those who may well be seen as legitimate targets from the actions of others today.
