AFGHANISTAN QUESTIONS

An American assault rifle lays across a Russian helmet…which country coming after the natural resources will provide the next item of military kit?

Those of you that have read my posts since 2009 know full well where I stand on Afghanistan.

In the last couple of days every talking head wanting to put their two penny worth out there has.

However, here is what we need to look forward to quite possibly in the future given the circumstances…I’m doing this in question form as I don’t have the answers, my crystal ball’s cloudy:

This is not the beginning of the end for America’s legacy in Afghanistan over the last 20 years, but rather the end of the beginning.

1 Will there be an all out bloody civil war in this incredibly fractious country now that the Taliban are sitting in Kabul?

2 Just where are all the warlords that were sitting in government?

3 Has anyone from the media gone and checked on the war lords’ big houses paid for by donor monies over in Dubai?

4 In the short term, given that Afghanistan isn’t really a country with international borders, but rather fiefdoms with borders run by the warlords…will they ALL fall to the Taliban, or will the tribes fight back in the coming months?

5 Will Saudi Arabia continue to supply monies and assets to spread Wahhabism around Afghanistan through the Taliban?

6 Will US, UK, and others’ politicians and generals from the last 20 years be held to account for dropping their pants for corporate led inept US foreign policy in Afghanistan and the region?

7 Will anyone make the distinction between China’s long game in Afghanistan to successfully win contracts for what’s under the ground, and the West’s failure to do so by only looking in 4 year increments…due to the next set of elections back home?

8 Will the governments of the USA and UK now recognize that Saudi Arabia and Pakistan are not our allies, and if the “war on terror” was to be told truthfully, then back in 2001 selected targets in both those countries and others should have been neutralized as opposed to targets in Afghanistan? Given that those countries are the financing, breeding and recruiting grounds?

Just a few questions to whet the appetite as you won’t be hearing them or reading them on mainstream media.

America and their Western Allies have not been safe for some years now. I guarantee that after the rapid success of the Afghan Taliban guided by their foreign proxies, that our own countries from today will be even less safe going forward. This latest scenario has given every young Jihadist from other networks or even alone, the impetuous to make their mark outside of Afghanistan.

Our borders have been way too porous for way too long now. Young men of fighting age from war torn foreign countries have come in, and continue to come in illegally. What a “Trojan Horse” for the enablers!

For the first time in 20 years I want to see our politicians and (political) generals come clean with the people who they represent, tell the truth, admit to their wrong doings, make some intelligent command decisions without the input of Wall St elites…and move forward extremely cautiously when thinking out our security, immigration and foreign policies for tomorrow.

  1. Basically the democratic west is screwed until we can pull apart politics and big business interests. America is now a failure, they went in to take down Al Queda and ended up trying to create a nation state in their likeness. Christ in May they even tried to make an Afghan LGBT 🏳️‍🌈 month.

It’s all about money and woke nonsense, it’s banal. Hate to say it but the coalition were failures from day 1, it was just ‘when’ they quit not ‘if.’.

Time to wake up, your national borders now matter more than ever, they are your moat and drawbridge.

  2. As usual Bob you talk simple common sense. My question is which politician has the “manhoods” to listen and act/
