Talk to anyone, anywhere in the world and they will tell you that peace and security trumps everything.
Sadly in today’s Afghanistan, we hear from way too many families that they would prefer the Taliban in power, because they simply bring security, no matter how brutal the implementation of it.
However, at home in the UK, and here in the USA, having had relative peace for the most part (putting the NI troubles to one side within the UK borders) since the ending of World War 2, we are in immense danger of tripping up our mainly peaceful society with the unlawful introduction of way too many young foreign men of fighting age onto our shores.
I’ve written in the past about the Trojan Horses being brought in from the great Afghanistan airlift of a few weeks ago. I would bet my mortgage that not everyone on board those flights are innocents running from a Talban regime. I’ve also written about the illegal migrants running ashore on British beaches in rubber boats from their “safe base” in France…again, not everyone are innocents running from persecution in their home countries. Here in the US there are similar problems with the southern porous border between the US and Mexico.
I don’t have a crystal ball in front of me to tell me just when trouble and a lack of security will strike our streets, but then again I don’t need one. I’m not blind, I’m not deaf…totally anyway, and I’m most certainly not dumb. Therefore if I can sniff trouble at bay…then just why are the governments of the UK and the USA allowing the potential for a lack of peace and security with our own communities at home?
It’s now less than a week until the 20th anniversary of the infamous 11th September attacks on US soil. “Islamic fundamentalists” will be rubbing their hands right now, not only with the anniversary coming up, but with the “double victory” of the Taliban once again seizing power in Afghanistan, especially taking it from the most powerful nation in the world’s proxy government in Kabul.
With that, I sense attacks sometime very soon on UK soil and on US soil…so at what stage does our governments take this with the utmost seriousness and inform the people to have an individual security plan in their daily mindset…and stand by?
It’s one thing to continuously keep messing up corporate led inept foreign policy, but it’s quite something else when governments keep messing up the peace and security at home with failed domestic policies through failing to secure our borders.
I hope you’re wrong but I think you will be right
