You’re privileged and pampered doing a line
That’s OK, carry on, everything’s just fine
Today’s Conservatives and Labour are two cheeks of the same arse
Working for big business and not the electorate is a complete farce
Making $$$$$ from war is not a new game
But to carry it on today is just an utter shame
They could secure our border against the Nazi regime
It would be easy for them to put together a team
That ensures those who want to come to our shores
Are the right people to walk through our doors
The NHS was once world renowned
Atlee and his team deserved to be crowned
But through the decades of mismanagement it’s drowned
Yet we cannot go the American way
Where seeing a doctor through a for profit insurance company is there to stay
Britain once proud of an electorate safety net
Ex military, or lost your job, please don’t fret
Britain once proud of all that we made
Would put most countries around the world in the shade
Ships, aircraft, cars to lemonade
One by one it all began to fade
That was the time to say no to a workforce overseas
Bigger profits for the ownerships please
Great cities and towns on their arse
A good education and jobs for the working classes became sparse
The high street was bustling no more
The pubs are closing…no roar
So when oh when do we all shout and rise
To make Britain great as the ultimate prize?
