Attack On Iran…Yes, Be Concerned, Very Concerned.

The Greater Middle East…One second, peace and beauty…the next second…hell.

So…Israel and the USA have taken out the Iranian Regime and its top man.

Was it legal? Is there a goal? Is there a long-term plan? Is there a plan B,C,D…?

In time we may get to know, or perhaps we’ll never get to know.

Just as important…what is it really all about?

Trump invited Netanyahu onto his Board of Peace a while back, a bit like allowing Jeffrey Epstein to look after a kid’s birthday party, as an American told me the other day.

Now here we are with the Greater Middle East on fire, and already there are proxies joining in.

One thing’s for sure, when the modern-day West decides to get aggressive with players of the Greater Middle East, it never ends well.

The US-led wars always have a strict timeline. I’m sure that Israel is the very same too. Mainly, because politics is integral to the timeline. Elections, and of course, in the US the midterms…so not just every 4 years, but also every 2 years.

However, Iran has no timeline, just like the attacks on the Taliban regime way back now.

All the great wording from the US Presidents from the early victories of the wars of the last 25yrs and not one went well in the longer term. That’s because those crazed despots ruling their countries with an iron fist have no such political timelines. Which is why those in the Region have this great saying to those from the West: “You have the watches, but we have the time.”

So true, just look at the Taliban…20 years to return to the seat of power in Kabul. Beating the greatest military coalition on the planet… apparently.

For decades now, the average individual from the Greater Middle East could wrap their little finger around the average Westerner…and have done…again, look no further than the days of Lawrence of Arabia. From the fruit seller on the street to the despot in charge. I watched Karzai in Afghanistan for years play everyone from the US to China like a fiddle. And today the man is still alive living under Taliban rule.

Yes, no doubt about it, illegal under International law, or legal under International law, the planning and execution of the Israeli/US strikes at the heart of Iran’s leadership was outstanding…but just what comes next?

The gains…the killings of the Iranian leadership…for now.

The losses…well, we’ll all see in the coming months.

Already, the first day of the Western working week, we see oil prices up, Wall Street down, our own people sheltering in place in ME countries housing US forces or not. Proxies joining into the frey. The US, Israel, and even countries like my own UK on heightened alert from those inside the country executing a terrorist attack.

There’s a great saying from economists that when one country sneezes, the others catch the cold.

We’re already seeing that from Trump’s tariffs. Everyone is affected by prices on the rise, as businesses pass on their losses to the consumer.

Well, day 3 and I’m already concerned, very concerned that filling up the car, putting food on the table, paying the power bills are now going to go north much more. And even more important is the safety and security of the general public…just trying to live their lives peacefully as the despots and Western leaders play chess, with everyone they represent…the pawns.
